Saying hey from Kalamazoo, Michigan!

I just wanted to say hey! My name is Erin and I'm a certified doula from Kalamazoo, Michigan. I have been certified for almost a whole year now (Sep. 30th) but I have been a doula since 2002! I have 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl. Still thinking about 1 more! I'm currently also beginning studies to become a direct entry midwife, and I'm so excited about this journey!

It sounds like you have a lovely family...and how exciting that you're going to become a direct entry midwife!!! There are a few other aspiring midwives on this board also; I bet you'll have TONS to chat about. This is a great place, and I just it here. Tiffany has done a fantastic thing for her doula sisters!

Btw.....it's awfully late right now (or early?). Guess I'm not the only one with insomnia tonight! Goodness....I really need to get to bed soon! Anyway.....It's really great to have you join us!

Oh...gotta tell ya....I just LOVE the name "Kalamazoo"! It always makes me think of that little cheapy instrument that you blow through.....a KAZOO!, that's it!!!! Gotta love it! If you can't tell...I get silly when I'm sleepy!
