Hello from wilmington, NC
Hi everybody!
I'm so glad I found this site!!
I just trained with ALACE last month and am very excited-although I am 5 months regnant so not sure how many more clients I will atually take!!

Wow, another Erin! Awesome! LOL I absolutley love the name!  Congrats on both your baby and certification!   I also worked towards and became certified while pregnant! It can be challenging, but as long as you know your body, stay in shape, you'll do awesome! I attended my last birth while  at 30 weeks along. I would of gone longer, but I did not have anymore clients lined up!  I think what helped me was the fact that I was in a prenatal water exercise class twice a week, and then I walked on the other days! It really helped! And I had my baby in September, and never really had an issue with edema either! I'm telling ya, godda get in a pool! LOL 
Can't wait to 'talk' and discuss with ya!

Welcome...I am a DONA trained birth doula in Eastern Canada. I took my DONA training while pregnant with baby #2 and didn't really persue much till he weaned last February. Now I'm waiting for my certification packet to be processed!! Good luck to you, Liz
