Seriously, Christy (MotherTheMother) invited me to check this site out (sorry, Christy, it took me a few days), and so here I am. This is really a well-organized site, and it's very easy to navigate. All the tools and resources look AWESOME! I've been a doula for more than ten years (but I'm not THAT old), and I still have to wipe away tears every time I see a baby born. I hope that never goes away. I look forward to meeting you all, and learning something new. Talk soon!

 Val! I can't wait to get to know you better--I LOVE seeing new members, and I love it more when they post!  Thank you very much for the compliments on the site, I am working to add things and improve stuff nearly every day. Let me know if you see something missing, have a suggestion or just a question.

Oh, and Val I am assuming you are from the States? I love to know where people are from. I'm American and originally from New England (MA), but am living in Ontario with my husband and kids. Glad to see you jump right in!!

Yes, I'm in Alabama. Sorry I forgot to mention that. Tiffany, I'm currently checking out your website templates. You don't know how great an idea that is, because I just have no desire to make my own website, and the one I used to have was just plain horrid. So I'm fiddling with using the birth informed one. How do I incorporate my logo (oops if I HAD a logo) into the header there?

I'm Jill mom of 5 in Northern Calif. I've been a Doula for 6 years but am just getting started with the business aspect of it. Up til now it's been mostly family and freinds. Now I need some PAYING clients

My name is Lori (well, actually it's "Lorisa", but everyone calls me "Lori"!), and I'm a CAPPA Certified Labor Doula. My dh, two teen boys, and I live in Ohio.
Alldoulas is a lot of fun.... It's a great place to learn from each other, support each other, and be forewarned....to get a good case of the giggles!!!

Hello! Welcome! Your right this site is awesome! My name is Erin, I've been a doula for about 3 years now, I'm certified through DONA. I'm a mom of three
<------------------------------- Jarrett (almost 6), Madolyn (almost 16mth), Grant (3) I'm also currently a midwifery student, and I'll be going back to college this fall to start working towards becoming a CNM! I'm also currently planning a pregnancy and baby expo, so if you don't see me around alot in the next 6 weeks, it is because I've gone crazy with the expo, and they have had to admit me into the loony bin!
