I'll be encapsulating my first placenta today

I finally have everything I need to do my first placenta. I've really lots of info, esp what's here, which is AWESOME, and I'm ready to go for it!

Hopefully I won't have any crazy posts later today if I run into a snag.

OK, I have it in the dehydrator now. All went well (from what I can tell LOL). I did forget that I do not have anything to grind it, but I'll get that tonight/tomorrow so I can finish up.

Debbie, I just bought a grinder at target for less than $20 and all the pieces come apart for cleaning! Hamilton Beach.

I just pulled my own placenta out of the freezer to defrost I'm nervous!

It went well! I was a tiny bit nervous, but it was actually pretty easy.

Thanks!

Can I just say I find this FASCINATING? Well okay fascinating is the wrong word... it's far more than that. I love the idea that placenta deserves better than the "biohazard" bag. It sustained potential life for months! I just adore it. Anywho, my partner is sitting here giving me the weirded out stare, but I get it... I've been browsing this board since joining and just love the honor ya'll bestow on placenta!!
