Question Postpartum Doulas - Breastfeeding Class Requirement

For those that are post-partum doulas, what did you do for your breastfeeding class requirement?

I took a breastfeeding class that was offered at a local hospital. I think it met a few times and all the other participants were expectant mamas.

It wasn't part of my doula certification but I just took a breastfeeding class as well. It has been a couple of years so I wanted a refresher. I just looked up the local hospitals online and one of them had a schedule of classes. They let me attend for free so it only cost me my time. I was pleased that I did learn a couple of things and feel a little more confident to help my mamas.

I'm not certified (and likely won't choose to), but I attend a breastfeeding class at all the hospitals I expect to ever attend a birth at. This way I am seeing first hand what kinds of information my mamas are being given, and it gives me the opportunity to refresh every few months.
I also have wonderful relationships with the local IBCLC's so every now and then I observe one of their private breastfeeding consultations.
I try to stop by the local LLL meetings when I can.
Other than that, I read read read!
