Pamphlets about PP doulas

Does anyone know where I can get a pamphlet about what a postpartum doula does to hand out to my inquirers please? I know I could write my own, but at the mo. I have a really full plate and am lacking in sleep so I probably couldn't string much of a sentence together.

I know DONA have one on Dads and Postpartum doulas, but I wanted a more general one ie: explaining what makes us so different to baby nurses or babysitters or mother's helps AND how we can work alongside dad too!!

Like I said, I guess I will probably have to structure and word my own......but sleep depravation is playing it;s toll right now!!!!!!

A lazy

I believe DONA has some standard brochures that you can purchase in the boutique.

Let me know if you're still needing a "sample". I'll happily share mine for you to look at.

UPDATE: Due to a computer crash, I am unable to access my hard drive or any of the data stored there. I am no longer able to share these handouts. My sincere apologies, and thank you for understanding.

I really need some samples of descriptions of a pp doula. I tend to highlight what I like but then put it all together in my words. Did that make sense?

The DONA brochure "What is a Doula?" describes both birth and postpartum doulas. THe DONA Postpartum Doula Position Paper describes what a ppdoula is, the research that has been done on why we are valuable and describes the differences between a Nanny, baby nurse, etc. It can be downloaded free on their website. www.dona.org

I recently purchased the DONA brochure about doulas and I was not very impressed for the purposes of educating people about postpartum doulas. There was too much space devoted to talking about the organization and more space was allocated to discussing birth doulas than postpartum doulas. I also found a couple of typos/errors in the text (which I notified them of, so perhaps it has been fixed). I can't suggest any alternatives, however.
