Bright Beginnings(TM) PreNatal Bar a First for Women Seeking Alternative to Hard-to-Swallow Pills

New Prenatal Food Bar Now Available Online Exclusively at
http://www.drugstore.com

GORDONSVILLE, Va., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- New Bright Beginnings(TM)
PreNatal Bar from PBM Pharmaceuticals, Inc., is a great-tasting alternative to
prenatal pills. Now available in cranberry granola flavor at the
drugstore.com(TM) Web store, the patented PreNatal Bar is the only
prescription prenatal food bar on the market.
"Some women find it difficult to swallow large prenatal pills on a regular
basis," said Dr. Barbara Levine, Director, Associate Professor of Nutrition in
Medicine, Weill Medical College of Cornell University. "Bright Beginnings
PreNatal Bar is a great way for moms to get vitamins and minerals that are so
necessary in the prenatal period."
"We are delighted to provide mothers with a pleasant alternative to
oversized vitamin pills easily available through the Internet," said Jack
Schramm, EVP of PBM Pharmaceuticals.
Maintaining ideal nutritional levels throughout pregnancy is crucial to
ensuring that mothers and their infants are as healthy as possible. Pregnant
women who eat a healthy diet containing adequate levels of folic acid may
reduce their risk of having a child with a brain or spinal cord defect.
Now one bar a day makes it easy to maintain recommended levels of
important nutrients like calcium, folic acid, and vitamin D before, during,
and after pregnancy. Each delicious PreNatal Bar delivers 100% daily value of
17 vitamins and minerals, including 1,300 mg of calcium, 1 mg of folic acid,
and 45 mg of choline.
Bright Beginnings PreNatal Bar is the only prenatal supplement with the
full recommended daily calcium requirement during pregnancy. It is also the
only prenatal supplement physicians may prescribe that contains
oligosaccharides, a soluble fiber clinically proven to increase calcium
absorption.

Bright Beginnings is a formula company, if that makes a difference to you.

Love the idea of the bars but if there making formula feels a contradiction in terms. It's like there saying we will make you as fit as we can mineral and vitamin wise so your milk is solid gold then due tobrand loyalties get you on to there milk!

I love the idea but not so sure bout conflict for mums?

Gastric Bypass Clients

I am interested for someone who has had a gastric bypass. She can have trouble with pills. I am going to get some info on the bars to see if these would be appropriate for her. Thanks
