I bring the contract, the Doula FAQs and myth sheets, my card, magnet (for them if they hire me) and a list of services. That's it. Not too much really.

Yep! The more relevant tags (and the more specific they are) the better!

I bring much the same as previously mentioned. The only difference is that I bring TWO copies of my contract to leave with them. If they decide to hire me, they mail one back to me with the deposit and still have one to keep.
I also have a recommended reading list so that if they don't hire me, at least they have a list of good books.

i bring my prenatal packet with me so i can better explain what would get covered in the prenatal visits - client intake questions, pain-coping handout, birthplan worksheet, coping strategy assessment, etc. they can keep any handouts but i keep all the rest until i'm contracted.

i'm with a doula group so every potential client gets a packet from us beforehand with the contract, scope of practice, information on our classes, resources, our cards and brochures and coupons for a variety of other pregnancy and postpartum services.

i always talk about why i became a doula, my style of doula-ing and answer their specific questions about my scope of care or what i would do in a particular situation. i feel that i communicate this stuff better in verbal, rather than in written form.
