Incorporating Support people in prenatals
A while ago I remember a thread on AllDoulas that contained an exercise about support people. Basically, I think it was where each person involved on the birth team had to write down what their ? what they thought the mother's? expectations were for the birth.
I'm a bit vague on the details, so I'm hoping someone can clarify this exercise for me.
I have a prenatal next week with a couple and the grandmother-to-be. It'll be the first time I'll have someone else, other than the couple involved.
Any tips and suggestions on what to expect and how to deal with this type of situation is greatly appreciated.  |
