Positive comment from doctor

My July 4th client's dh is a family practice doctor. He did go through an OB rotation while in medical school, and did "catch" quite a few babies while on hospital rotation on L&D.

Tonight was our postpartum visit, and while I was there, I confessed that I had been nervous at first about having a doctor as the dh of a client.

My client's dh then told me that he had learned so much from our prenatals, and he told me that it would have been so much harder if I had not been there, and that in OB rotation that doctors are taught absolutely nothing about labor support, and that he was so glad that they had hired me for their birth. "Don't ever let any doctor make you think that they know more about labor support than you do, because they know NOTHING," he said, "You go, girl!"

That really made my day.
