Happy birthday to one of my babies!

On Sunday, I had the opportunity to see one of "my babies". Little A. will be one year old on September 15th an I was there when he entered the world!
Mom and Dad invited me and my family to cookout with them on Sunday. It was beautiful and , of course, so was the little one! When I arrived, the first thing Dad said to me was, "Look A., it's Yvonne, she was there when you were born. She helped you come into the world". I then reminded him that it was he and his wife that did all the work!

Even a year later, it is so gratifying to be recognized for your contribution! Do some of you still keep in contact with your clients and their families?

Yup! Two of 'my babies' turned one this past August. One Mom told me: "I swear she has a bond with you...she is never this outgoing with other people, she seems real comfortable like she remembers you!"
So cool!

Each family enters my heart and stays in my life in some capacity.

I also have remained a part of my 1st client's life....she is due with her second little one in exactly one month!

is that not one of the best feelings. I have been there to see 5 of my little ones turn 1. I have one that is turning 4 and one that is turning 5 in the next few months. It makes me cry just to think of it.
