I had another interview last night...and came home with another signed contract and deposit check!
I was surprised to see that her parents were there for the interview; that was a new one for me...but of course, they were more than welcome to both be there and ask as many questions as they liked! Her mom had some questions, and I think it was good for her to hear what exactly a doula does and what she can expect for her daughter. I hope they all feel confident that she is going to be well taken care of! This was my shortest interview so far...I think the contract was signed within a half hour to 45 minutes, then we talked for a few more, so I was out the door in just over an hour.
Thanks, all! I am very excited! Clients seem to be falling from the sky. One of the others that was supposed to contact me this month to set up an interview e-mailed me today!
I'm sure I'll be bugging everyone with tons of questions ~ maybe I already am.
I've had lots of inquiries, but a lot of them are due right around me. The other doulas around here are loving all the recommendations I'm handing out though
