They wanted to hire me postpartum!

My client who delivered on Thursday is coming home today and they wanted to hire me on an extended basis Unfortunately I don't do postpartum work but I gave their information to my agency coordinator. There's a postpartum training in July for CAPPA, I may give it a shot!

I felt really flattered that they wanted to continue my services!

Awwww! That's wonderful! That really speaks about the bond they formed with you. Do you think maybe you could do a few hours, just to get some experience?

That's awesome! I think I'd do it personally if they loved me that much. Use it as a basis to see if you would like to or not.

I'll have to clear it with my the coordinator of the service I work with -- I'm not sure if she'd be OK with my taking a client without training especially if there is a trained PP doula who is available. I really should clarify with her that I'd be happy to do a stint if she's OK with it.

I'm sorry, I missed that you are part of an agency.

That's great Karen! You should be really flattered and proud that the mom thinks so highly of you.

That's great! I think I'd like to do PP in the future. But one step at a time. Let us know how it goes!
