Thanks from Grandma!

I went to my client's baby's christening and met her mom yesterday (her mom lives overseas and did not come until after the baby was born). She thanked me for being there for her daughter and said it was a great comfort to her that someone was able to tend to her daughter the way she wanted to, and she also thanked me for writing up the birth story (and asked me for a copy since she'd spilled coffee on the one I gave my client! ). It is always nice to hear positive feedback from a 3rd party.

Thats so nice! See, those birth stories go further than mom and dad sometimes. When I visited in the hospital the day after my clients baby was born, her parents were there and thanked me for being there for their daughter. It felt good to get that from them too.

Awwww, what a nice comment! That is so great that Grandma didn't feel as though you usurped 'her' place and appreciated your time and attentions!

What a special treat!! I'm sure knowing her daughter was being take care of meant a lot to her ~ and being able to share the birth through your story must make her feel connected to her grandbaby's birth. Good job!!
