Midwives want to meet with us
One of the hospital-based CNM groups has approached me about meeting regularly with my doula group! They want to discuss topics of mutual interest, including the midwives sharing info on their areas of expertise, e.g. second stage, NICU stays, water birth, etc.
I'm thrilled that they took the initiative on this! I'd casually discussed it with one of the midwives previously, but hadn't had a chance to follow up. This is one of the more natural-birth friendly CNM practices in the area.
