Inspirational Client

I really wanted to share this with you all.
I am looking after a client at the moment who is attempting a VBAC. She has a few "glitches" in her path including an Incompetent cervix (stitch in place), Previous delivery at 26weeks, uterine cancer, Diabeties, mild placenta previa (7mm at this stage),IVF conception and high blood pressure but despite this she is calm and determined. She had some spotting and contractions a couple of weeks ago but it seems to have settled now and she is 31 weeks tomorrow. Her attitude is amazing and I feel so blessed to have been chosen as her doula its meeting women like this that makes the job such a privilege.
Im really hoping she gets the birth she deserves because she will be such an inspiration to other women wanting a VBAC who have "glitches" to overcome.

Good for her. I hope her determination continues when she is in labour, and that she has a beautiful VABC.
