Hello all,

I've been on the site for a few weeks and it's time to formally introduce myself.

I am a new doula, I just attended my first birth a month ago and currently on call for another mom. I also completed my CBE education and hope to start teaching by the end of the year. I'm really excited because I feel that I finally discovered my life's purpose and I am actually able to pursue it due to my family's wonderful support.

I am from Romania and I emigrated here in US in 2000, when I was 23. I have 3 kids - 10, 8 and 21 months. First was an unnecessary c-section, followed by 2 VBAC's. I recently started an ICAN chapter in Manhattan, which I hope will become more and more active.

Looking forward to receiving and sharing lots of valuable information and advice.
