I'm so excited about the release dead-line coming near (13th of july 2010)!
it will be even better than the old editions. everything about breastfeeding within the scope of practice of a doula is in there. if it's not in, you'll know you have to refer out to a certified lactation consultant. i love the WAM because it presents breastfeeding as the most normal and natural thing in the world, it helps with specific problems and special circumstance. sill, it acknowledges there can be situations where breasfeeding might not be possible. i believe it is one of THE books a doula needs in her library!!!

Very exciting. What I love about this book is that it is a great parenting book too. A must have.
