Bereavement Services is the leading provider of bereavement education and resources for healthcare professionals worldwide. This course is currently the only clinically-based online bereavement education available, and is priced very reasonably (US$20).
Also available are the 'Theoretical Framework of Grief' and 'Communicating With the Bereaved' units, which will further enhance your ability to understand and support your clients. While centered specifically around grief, the curriculum can quite easily be translated to other aspects of our care.
These courses are a reminder that everyone grieves differently, and offer us important basic tools and lessons that can be valuable to our Doula work.
