A breastfeeding mother from here was harrassed by a Delta flight attendant so I posted her story on my facebook. Now I am being bombarded with rude inaccuracies. Feel free to post on here if you'd like.

sorry this is happening! i can't post to the delta wall i don't want to like them. but i like that they "have reached out to offer an apology...". i don't get it how someone can take offense in public breastfeeding. when we took an airplane with our babies for an all day flight(!), the company was very baby friendly, they made us board first, when everyone had taken their seats they politely asked some passengers to change their seat so the whole family could be in the same row and they even had a little play kit offered for the kids and baby food, special baby seats etc. breastfeeding? no problem!!! that's how it should be imo. it was in the cheapest category, and i believe the french do take security at least as seriously as the americans...

Oh my, such misinformed comments!:wow
This is an old story from last year, did this happen again?
The incident happened end of September 2010 and went viral in Oct 2010.
Was there a particular reason why you posted about it now?
It just stirs up people who only equate breasts with sex and nudity. As if their eyes would fall out of their head if they saw a mother nurse a baby.
No complaints from anyone when they see abnormally over inflated cosmetically altered breasts hanging out of a blouse.

Yes it happened again and we are working on a nurse in at our Delta counter here. But this one was recently published in mothering magazine and picked up by Normalizing Nursing in Public.
