I thought it would be a good idea to start an ongoing list of Distance Education resources. If you have any to add, let me know and I will edit the main list in this first post.
http://www.cappa.net CAPPA has distance trainings for labor doulas, postpartum doulas, antepartum doulas, lactation educators and childbirth educators.
http://www.childbirthinternational.com Childbirth International has distance training for labor doulas and childbirth educators. They will be adding distance training for postpartum doulas and lactation educators in the near future.
http://www.intuitivedoula.com Offers a distance training program for labor and postpartum doulas.
http://www.health-e-learning.com/content/blogcategory/13/67/ Offers the BreastEd e-learning series which is a 10-course series that fulfills the background education requirements for the IBCLC exam. Excellent information for doulas interested in furthering their knowledge about breastfeeding.
http://www.ontarioperinatal.com/ Offers a very wide range of distance courses for professionals.
http://www.birtharts.com/ Offers distance training for birth and postpartum doulas.
http://www.tui.edu/ - Distance education, offers a BS in Maternal/Child Health: Lactation Consulting. It is a fully accreditted university, offers financial aid, and accepts transfer credits from other universities.

I have been going through Inuitive Doula Training Course and I must say it is awesome!! I cant say that the assignments are easy, but they are most definitely in depth. They cover a lot of points that you need to know for helping pregnant women and new mamas.
The instructors are very very good. The feed back kyou get from them is great, and they are very very flexible. They have no problems giving one on one help if you need it and tailoring the coursework tho help you become the very best labor/postpartum doula you can be. I very highly recommend this very wonderful course.

I would suggest Mother & Childbirth International - a new company which is sister to the hugely successful Nurturing Birth Doula training company in the UK.
M&Bi is exactly as the title says INTERNATIONAL and offers doula training and a range of CPD courses for trained doulas including breastfeeding support for doulas all over the world.
Mother and Baby international online and webinar doula and breastfeeding courses
