I signed up for training on February 8th (the day after my first clients due date) and attended my first birth on the 18th of Feb. and the second on the 7th of March. I got my marks back for my Final Communications assignment two weeks ago and I am now a fully certified CBI doula. All in less than two months Woo Hoo!

I already had my births lined up and I figured I might as well go through for my certification. I am in college right now as well and a lot of the physiology stuff was also covered in my textbooks etc. so it made it a lot easier.
I also knew that I wanted to start working as a birth attendent right out of college, and that I couldnt do it unless I was certified, so I had a bit of a time crunch.

I need some inspiration!!! and a good kick in the butt!! lol... I have not made any progress in a few months  Life has made it difficult and I need to get started again!

I am FINALLY nearly finished- I just submitted my communication assignment draft last night. Once I send in the final paper and attend one more birth (coming up in January), I'll be certified!
