I am about 16 weeks pregnant with my 1st child, and will be attending a birth next week. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what food I should pack in my doula bag? I need to eat pretty often now, and I'm concerned that a handful of granola bars and an apple aren't going to cut it. Can anyone help me think of easy to eat, non-smelly, non-pershible foods to pack? Thanks so much!!

I'm 16 weeks this week and need to be eating all the time so that I don't get nauseous. At work, I keep organic beef jerky, tortilla chips, Preggie Pop drops, chocolate milk (you could get this shelf-stable), Odwalla bars, fruit...

How about some trail mix? Banana?
Make sure you rest when you can. I doula-ed while pregnant twice and it can be rough!
