I returned from a 12 hour birth one evening and was excitedly telling my husband all the details. my 4 year old son sat on my lap, dh said he had been asking for me all day. just 5 days earlier i was at another birth, which lasted about 15 hours. listening in on the conversation DS asks me, "mom, what is a doula?" i told him "a doula helps another mommy have her baby" and he replied, "i want you to be an UNDOula!!!"

Hopefully some day he will support what I am doing but for now he just doesn't want to share me, I guess!
