I've been working to fine tune my website and I think I'm too close to it to be subjective. Can some of you take a look and tell me what you think? If you were a consumer, would you feel compelled to contact me?

I have a fair amount off visitors to my site - almost 100 in the last 31 days, but not a single contact yet. Already I'm still getting clients.

I get a not found message

Hmm...anyone else having this problem? I just clicked the link and it worked...? :/

Also, I know my font styles are inconsistent. This is something I'm trying to revolve, but its not easy (and it should be...ugh.).

I've had about 20 people visit my site off this thread... Is it really that bad that no one dares say anything? Speak up folks...I won't be offended...

I was able to pull it up. I think changing the font to something larger and more eye pleasing and adding pictures/graphics would really help the overall look. It's an informative website for sure but it looks like 100 other free doula websites. Would you be able to afford or barter for a professionally created site? I highly recommend it.

What?...you don't like my 10pt 'standard' font? I agree, it does look pretty generic. I'll have to see what kind of resources I can muster up.

I think it looks nice. I like the home page, although I'm not crazy about the right side column listing your qualifications, followed by testimonials that end in ...., it seems either out of place or just too much scattered information. You could include that on your Your Doula page.
The font is nice, but not so easy to read, with grey on grey. Maybe change it to a darker colour?

Also, unless you are specifically looking for christian clients, I wouldn't put a biblical message on a professional website. Being non-religious I wouldn't hire you. If that's a target market for you, or your religion plays a huge part in your work, then keep it, but it may turn some people off.

Your photo could also be a head shot type photo, instead of a birth photo. Something with you smiling and looking approachable and professional.

I think it's a great start, there's always improvements to be made.
