Does anyone have experience with co-sleeping? I'd like to be able to provide more information about it to my clients.

Second the recommendation of Dr. James McKenna. He is awesome. Definitely read his book "Sleeping With your Baby". I co-slept (and still do) with my kids. It is great, biologically normal, moms get more sleep, so good in so many ways. If you follow the rules in his book for safe co-sleeping it reduces the risk of SIDS by 50%.

we didnt cosleep with my son until he was over a year old, but with my daughter born 9 months ago, she has been in our bed since the day she came home. I feel very safe with her and have read lots of information online about safe cosleeping, I wish we would have done it with our son but i was a very naive mother and followed dr's orders to a tee i feel like i missed out on such a close bonding experience with my son and maybe our breastfeeding relationship could have been better if i have coslept with him
