Not sure if this is where I should post this. I am pregnant, and have just begun thinking about placenta encapsulation. However, a friend of mine just told me that the hospital here where I was going to give birth at, will not allow you to take home your placenta!! I'm very upset with this. How can they do that?? Is this common? Has anyone dealt with this before??

have you used the search button and read through all those threads in the placenta forum here on this question and what can be done? and also the ones on laws in the different states? there have even been dads who were going to "steal" their placenta...
