I am a birth doula in Atlanta, GA. My website is
www.happiestdoula.com. I am originally from Long Island and I've been considering a move to NYC.
I wonder how doulas in Manhattan logistically support clients. Serve only a few close neighborhoods? A set location to hold consultations and prenatals? Drive your own car to births or take the train/taxi? Or simply meet laboring mamas at the hospital?
I'd love to get to know a few busy doulas in NYC. In Atlanta, I attend 4-5 births a month on average, sometimes more. I prefer to stay busy and need to reach clients quickly. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated on how one accomplishes this in the city.
Thanks,
Cynthya
