I would like to propose the idea of starting a doula program at the local hospital. I don’t know how to get a project like this going? I plan to contact the volunteer department and maternity department to set up a meeting. I’m worried the hospital will just dismiss it as a liability. Do you know of any hospital based doula programs and how they got started? Any advice would be appreciated!
