in my training Ann Tumbling gave us the website... but... I've been trying to get to it and it doesn't load! Any other links that you might know?

To the doulas in NC, please know that Acupressure is considered a massage therapy modality and can not be performed on anyone without a person being a licensed massage and bodywork therapist in the state of NC. Just an fyi

For NC list of modalities that are considered massage by the NC Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy go to their website (click the mission statement link - the website is bmbt.org) Mission Statement, click on document center, and click on "Modalities requiring Licensure in North Carolina". There is a pdf document and the very first modality listed is "Acupressure." Reflexology, however, is not listed.
