can you recommend any herbs and their usage for a mom after a d&c? what would be a suitable gift?

(i've tried to search for d&c, both abreviated and spelled out in different ways, but it yielded zero results, so if there's already a good discussion on this issue that i missed, please share the link.)

This may or may not be useful for you to find out more (I searched "herbs after dilation and curettage")

I have had gals drink my Raspberry blend for this situation since it has many healing benefits. Nettle is an anti-swelling agent, red raspberry leaf is a uterine toner/healer. Plus, the combination of herbs helps stabilizes hormones and emotions, so it would be very beneficial to her. Good luck to her!

I will say following one of my own I used a perineal tea bath or 'afterbirth' bath salts since while the perineum wasn't as sore as after my birth, my whole pelvic floor was tender like a bad period and slightly bruised feeling. I agree with the above herbs for drinking.

And the cool thing is, you can use these that way as well and it helps afterbirth soreness. Good point!
