Do any of you know this organization? What can you tell me about working with them, if you're familiar with them? I came across the name in a post on one of the blogs I follow, and I'm intrigued.

They are a new organization with former/current LLLL on the BOD. They seem to be completely above-board and with genuine interests in following the Code and doing things in the right way. They have begun training counselors and may be starting to hold informational meetings for nursing dyads in select locations. The website does give a lot of good info.

Wow, first time I'm hearing this and I'm interested. They sound like a good organization.

I'm actually beginning my course work to become an accredited Breastfeeding Counselor through them next month.
Some women I know who have had LLL groups before (we don't have one here) wondered what the difference is, but I didn't know what to tell them. So, I'm looking for that answer myself.
But what I can say is the whole process so far has been great. It is new, so there have been delays as they get things laid out, but they've been extremely professional about it, too.

So bumping this thread since I have completed all the modules that are currently offered through them.
I really love the education and the assignments. They have also became a pathway to IBCLC so that is pretty dang awesome! They don't have all the modules complete yet, but so far it's really great. I highly recommend them for people who'd like to get into the BFing work/education. This is a good stepping stone for bigger goals.
