620-688-0005. [/color]I am a resident of Independence who serves the surrounding areas in both Kansas and Oklahoma. I have traveled as far as Tulsa, Ok to attend a birth. I have experience with hospital, home, water birth(my own), VBAC, medicated and unmedicated ('natural') births. I also have a back-up arrangement with a 'seasoned' Doula.
My goal is to provide educational resources and the best labor support that I possibly can while protecting the mother's memory of birth.

My training was with the Doula Association of Central Oklahoma and was[color="darkorchid"] DONA[/color] approved, taken in Oct. 2005. I have been certified since Nov 2007. For more information on the certification requirements see www.dona.org.

I have a set fee, however I am open to making arrangements when necessary. I agree with [color="darkorchid"]DONA[/color]'s philosophy of [color="DarkOrchid"]"a Doula for every woman who wants one."
