Experience: I have attended 11 births as of June '07, including 1 cesarean, 1 homebirth and 4 with an epidural.
Philosophy: I love to help Mom's achieve natural births - I believe it is absolutely possible to do, best for Mom and baby and a great, empowering experience, but at the same time I also don't believe I can judge other women's pain or choices. I will fully support any decisions you make.
Services: The usual that doulas provide: 3 prenatal visits, continuous labor support, immediate postpartum and breastfeeding support and postpartum visits if desired.
Price: I charge based on a sliding scale, which is usually far less than what doulas in Ann Arbor cost (about $500-600.)
