Hello there

My name is Heather. I am a doula in training at La Matrona doula & midwifery school in Asheville. I live in Hillsborough and attend births anywhere within 1 hour of traveling. I have 2 little ones myself and am planning more eventually.

I knew I wanted to work with pregnant women and their babies before my own children were even born. It really is a calling, and I'm honored to attend women at this beautiful, sacred time in their lives.

Pretty soon I begin more training in Tennessee at The Farm with Ina May Gaskin and the other midwives there. I'm super excited about that and hope to just soak up everything they have to show and say.
