Hello doulas!

My sister is giving birth in DC this November. I would love to be with her for the birth, but I'm also recommending she get a local doula in case I can't be there and in case she wants a doula other than her sister. I know doulas in NYC and Philly but nobody in DC. Do you have any recommendations?

My sister has chosen to become a single mom. She is 29 and this is her first birth. She is new to the DC area and is worried that she will give birth alone if she goes into labor early and my mom and I can't make it (my mom lives in Utah).

Any help or thoughts are much appreciated.
