I have been a member for a little while and have been lurking around but not posting very frequently.
I am currently part of a doula collaboration in the Philadelphia area. I am a certified postpartum doula through DONA and have been working as a doula for a little over 5 years. The group I have been working with has had the honor of starting a new program working with Medicaid and being reimbursed through them for our services. We however need more doulas. If you are certified or close to finishing your certification and looking for more work in the Philadelphia/ Suburb area, will you please get in touch with me? I am so happy to be bringing these services to women who generally would not be able to afford us otherwise. Thank you so much in advance,

Do you have many doulas in your area or is there a "doula shortage"? I would be happy to arrange to offer a doula training there. I am a HALO (www.healingartslearning.org) labour doula trainer. We generally train in Ontario, Canada but I've travelled to your area several times for other reasons and would be happy to set something up.
