I was approached by someone starting the first doula practice in our area who invited me to participate. This will be one of the services. I hadn't heard of it before that, but I am interested, so I will join the wagon of aspiring antenatal doulas.

This forum is quite slow, is there anyone who has an antenatal client at the moment?

I am offering the service, but do not plan to certify at this point. Like others I plan to feel out the market before investing in yet another certification.

I have an antepartum client now-- she contacted me for birth doula services, but they suggested that they create a pregnancy care package. I am advertising that I offer the service, but, I too can't justify the cost of this certification unless I see an increase in requests (income needs to justify the outflow, ya know?)
