I fully believe in the natural ability for the female body to have a successful, uncomplicated labor. I support the natural progression of birthing without medical interventions and respect the intense and life changing metamorphosis the process brings. Much of what is discussed during pregnancy focuses on negative experiences and the possibility of medical complications: when in reality, childbirth is a normal phase of life rarely requiring medical interventions. Though I encourage an unaltered labor experience, I acknowledge individual comfort levels and medical solutions and am committed to providing nothing but positive, knowledgeable support and feedback for any decision made during labor. Each body is different and it will be your story, not mine, that you re-tell through life.
