I know it is hard to think of raising this little one alone, along with your other children but I am here to tell you that you can. I know that you may not have the emotional energy to deal with that right now (ask me how I know) but I just want to tell you that there is some help for you out there when you are ready. And when you do, because I think you will at some point, and you get your life in order, you will be amazed at the amount of energy you have because you are no longer spending it all on him. Walking on eggshells takes a TREMENDOUS amount of energy.
I know you speak with wisdom and a BTDT perspective. Hearing from others may help Anna come to terms with her situation.
While you may not be able to take steps yet, Anna, please remember what 1stimestar has said: when you are ready there is help available.

WOW Anna, I can't imagine what you must be feeling beyond lonliness and rejection. You have received a lot of advice on your husband so I just want to add something about your kiddos. I think a fun way to get your kids excited about the baby is drawing pictures to decorate around the baby's crib or write little notes. I know your husband isn't fond of you spending money on the baby but what if you take the kids with you and they pick some things out for the baby. Another idea is to even have them help you pick out a name. (I don't know if your husband wants to be involved with that or not) Those are some ways I can think of that will help get the kiddos involved and in turn make you feel like someone cares.
God bless you!
PS- I think a photo shot is a great idea!

Thanks Jacque!
Aaron would like to name the baby "Optimus Prime" so he doesn't get a say and Liam can't talk much yet and has no clue about the baby yet. With his limited vocabulary, I'd end up with a baby named "woof, mew, ball," something like that...
That's a good idea to have them (at least the older one) draw pictures. I think I'll do that as it gets closer and I start setting up the bassinet, etc.

... and yes, the lonliness is overwhelming at times.
