Almost done with certification! I've actually done all the required work, but I don't feel quite ready to request certification yet. I'm working on mine as a post partum Doula! I meet with my second client next week  After that it will be a walk in the park  I should be done mid May (that is my goal anyway since I am due at the beginning of June!)

Hi! May I bump this old thread and say "me too!"? I've just sent off my communications draft, and boy am I glad that's mostly over! Please, someone tell me it gets better, I hated the way I had to lay out the essay. The ordering just didn't make sense to me... That said, I'm looking forward to continuing my course

Me too, but as CBE. I did doula with DONA and while I loved my training, I'm having an impossible time with recertifying. If I had extra money I would do it again with CBI and not have to worry about all those recertifying requirements!

How long did it take you all to get certified? I am thinking about going through this program!
I want to do the breast feeding counseling as well, but it is so expensive... I might have to save up.
