I am a DONA trained birth doula who is currently working towards certification. I've attended 6 births (references available upon request) so far as a doula, but have attended my sisters two births as well as my own.

So far, I have attended hospital births (and will attend births at Royal Columbian, Burnaby General, Surrey Memorial and Richmond Hospitals) and I also look forward to attending home births. I live in the New Westminster area and would love to serve the women of my community as well as those in Burnaby, Surrey, North Delta and Richmond. At this time, the fee for my services is $350.

My services include: the initial consultation (which does not obligate you to hire me), two prenatal visits, assistance in creating a birth plan (if so desired), phone & e-mail support for the remainder of your pregnancy, beginning two weeks before your EDD, I am on call for you 24/7 until the birth of your baby, CONTINUOUS labor support once active labor has begun, non-medical comfort measures, resource binder, lending library and one postpartum visit.

I have been happily married for 6 years and have a fabulous 4 1/2 year old daughter. I had a midwife for the birth of my daughter and look forward to working along side of one
